(where Dr. Seuss meets Dr. Chopra)
By the time I finish a thought
it’s already in the past
the moment I thought was now
is actually one of my last
As soon as it departs
a new one takes its place
a thought, a wish, a notion
implores the mind to race
The now that I knew then
is already dead and gone
I may as well let it go
no point in hanging on
So really there is no sense
in wasting time on thought
if each one simply dissolves
as fast as it was brought
