I thought I had it figured out
I thought I knew the game
I thought I knew but now I don’t
the game is never the same

The funny thing ’bout what I thought
is that thinking got me there
the thoughts that  I was having
were scattered everywhere

Now I think on purpose
deliberate and slow
the kind of thoughts that will take me
where I’ve yet to go

keep your thoughts on all your dreams
think them day and night
