in a simple world, in a warm embrace

I believe that people are good
yet they don’t always do what they know they should

that the kids mean well and want to take part

I believe in eating right
exercising and sleeping all night

I believe in the myths and the tales
where true love exists and Good always prevails

I may believe in these things that you mock
one day you’ll believe in this place where I walk

This place that exists in my mind, I conceive
